Beautiful ice and snow sculptures from Harbin 2012
Born in 1963, The Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival is one of the biggest events of this kind worldwide. It is held in january (and stay sometimes opens some days in february) in Harbin, in northeastern of China. In that region, average temperature in january is -16,8° C. A fantastic opportunity to sculpt : sculptures are still standing weeks after. Below you can see impressive works created for the 2012 edition. Photographer’s name are given below each photo.
