The wood-chip sculptures of Sergei Bobkov

Sergei Bobkov is a 53 years-old Russian sculptor who realizes works with a very original techniques. He uses wood chips (from Siberian cedars) to create very detailed birds and animals. The chips are 2 or 3 inch long. Each sculpture required six months of work, at a work rate of 10 to 12 hours a day. Visit this site for more images.
