Wow! Mr. Kimbo has a very very interesting style. I, like many others really enjoy vexel art and it looks like he has found a way to take the art form and really make it his own.
I’ve seen many examples of people taking a vexel piece and really making it complex in terms of the shading techniques. The end result is cool and quite photo-realistic, but extremely limiting. Limiting because you can only vexel the actual photograph and you can’t add modifications or your own uniqueness. Mr. Kimbo has simplified the process and made it fun and imaginative again.
