Short Animation Film #43 : Love and War
When Bunny meets Bear, it’s love at first sight. They are the perfect couple but one day, when Bear is about to propose, he is suddenly called by duty and have to take part in a terrible conflict. The story of Love and War is meaningful but the most impressive is the idea, the concept of the short-film: tell a moving story with puppets of animals, in stop-motion and as an opera. Fredrik Emilson is gone all the way: he is the director, animator, writter and composer of this unique visual and sound masterpiece. The music is the heart of Love and War and it is simply stunning. The “Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra” and the “Royal Swedish Opera Chorus” can be congratulate but they are not alone: the short-film has mobilized a lot of people. A stop-motion short-film to see and to live.
