Well-known of videogames fans, Mikaël Aguirre (known under the nickname Orioto) creates illustrations in homage to retro games (notably of the 16-bits era) but with a high-definition style.  In practice, he gives an idea of what these mythical 2D titles may look like if they were optimized for nowadays powerful gaming platforms.
