Short Animation Film #57 : The Backwater Gospel

Short Animation Film #57 : The Backwater Gospel

A gorgeous visual style, amazing animations, a fantastic soundtrack and an original story: this perfectly define The Backwater Gospel, a short animation film released in the beginning of this year and which will be probably one on the best of 2011. Resolutely mature, dark and impressive during nine minutes (even the ending credits are original and interesting), The Backwater Gospel is the work of students from The Animation WorkshopBo Mathorne, Tue T. Sørensen, Arthur Gil Larsen, Rie C. Nymand, Mads Simonsen, Thomas H. Grønlund, Esben Jacob Sloth and Martin Holm-Grevy. The music is from Sons of Perdition.
